The wedding dinner was held at a park in Pleasant Grove. It was perfect for all the kids who were there. Heather and I worked together planning and making it happen. She got the brunt of the creativity and organization, and was so easy to work with. In the end, it was a great dinner and fun activity.
The sealing was very nice, given by David Jack's grandpa. He was a little forgetful (like me), cute and funny. It was a full house. For pictures, the wind kicked up and had Becca's veil standing straight up at times, and kept our hair in our faces, but it was fun anyway.
Traditions
The cake-cutting got a little rambunctious. Of course there was cake being smashed in faces to the point that Becca almost went down. Jake caught her in the nick of time, and in the end, they kissed and made up. (Ewww!)
Before the throwing of the bouquet, Jake held up the train of Becca's dress and the girls held hands in a sort of dance and ran under it. Then they lined up to catch the bouquet. (This is a fun Mexican tradition).
Jake had to retrieve the garter from Becca's leg, which was embarrassing for both of them, but fun for the spectators!
My favorite part of the night was the dancing. Jake made me dance with him, which turned out to be a lot of fun - once he taught me what to do. He even had the courage to dip me.Another Mexican tradition was called The Dollar Dance. You could pin money on the bride or groom and earn the privilege of dancing with them for a minute. It was a lot of fun.
Jake and Becca were so cute dancing together. Jake is so much taller than her and she was dancing with her bare feet under her dress. It was a cute sight.
The food was amazing and the decorations looked great. Their colors were green and orange. Becca's family worked very hard to make it a special night to remember and it was a great success!
There were many there to support Jake and Becca. Thanks to all who came or who couldn't come but kept them in their thoughts on their big day.
We've gained a wonderful daughter, and Jake has acquired a great new family.

We had a lot of fun this year at the marathon. It was a nice break from all the wedding stress. We went to the expo and looked around and had a lot of samples, then got together for dinner the night before.
Those who came to support us had to wait a long time from the half-marathon finish to the full marathon finish. They were troopers to sit in the sun and wait, but you'll never know how much it means to run in and see your family smiling and waving at you! It was really fun to have 
My visit to 
I couldn't believe how much Isa had grown since I saw her at Christmas! She is so smart with all of her words and sign language! I couldn't get enough of that little girl!
Isa is already a great big sister and so helpful to Mommy! They're going to be great friends.
Grandma and Grandpa stopped in St. George on their way to and from a funeral. The kids were able to visit the 
Bikes and hikes, tennis, playing on the big toy. Lots to be done, but it sure wore out Stacie and her kids.
Evie taught Rach how to boogie board. She got a little braver and got pretty good at it.
We have a tradition of having a bonfire on the beach. Karen makes an awesome potato/hamburger/sausage casserole and we cook corn-on-the-cob in ocean water (with husks on). Then we make S'mores. It's a lot of fun!!!
Look at the little Josh! He looks so young. These were taken shortly after his return from his mission (except the wedding pictures).
The area with the sand and water was their favorite spot! It shows them how sand and water (the elements) have covered the dinosaurs up over time. Plastic dinosaurs and trees are used to show how they can get buried.
