We had a lot of fun this year at the marathon. It was a nice break from all the wedding stress. We went to the expo and looked around and had a lot of samples, then got together for dinner the night before.The morning of it seems like the bus is NEVER going to stop and you can't believe you have to run that far back down, but we made the best of it. Waiting for it to start was cold, but fun.
Those who came to support us had to wait a long time from the half-marathon finish to the full marathon finish. They were troopers to sit in the sun and wait, but you'll never know how much it means to run in and see your family smiling and waving at you! It was really fun to have Rach, Ty and Kenadi run me across the finish line!

Desiree kicked it for her first marathon and got a great time! Tami improved her PR by over a half hour.
There is no way to explain the elation you feel when you're all done! We had a great experience and created a lot of memories! Rach wore her pink shirt and "diamond" earrings so we could match at the end:)
